Chřibská90 is a taste of village life. In a quiet residential part of the village with old villagers, within walking distance to both the village square and the countryside. In a cacophony of typical village sounds and scenes - a dog's barking, a circular saw, music from a neighborhood gathering, a passing tractor. Close to the street as well as in the privacy of a growing garden with a pavilion.
Rural essential
The house is suitable for one group/family, maximum two, but they have to be very close. Although it has two floors and there is a sleeping space in each, the interior is designed in a loft-like way - as open as possible. Instead of the original attic, there are "stables", two zones separated only by a grid with curtains. A giant bubble bath awaits you in the larger of the two.
Neighbourhood
Chřibská90 is the only holiday home that has neighbors. We were a little worried about it, but the worry turned into love. The neighbors are interesting, friendly and unusually humane - no one here cares about barking dogs or garden parties, it's normal. Just say hello, wave and carry on. Before the hedge grows up, you'll enjoy watching the local guys pass by.
Timbered house Heresy
How do you approach a relatively small, dark, traditional timbered house in a residential area, when the needs and comfort of contemporary people have radically changed? We kept the upper floor - originally the attic - dark. It's an experiment. It can always be redesigned. We didn't want to break up the space with partitions either, so we dared to sort of accommodate the guests in the rooms a little bit like in stables... you'll see. You can contemplate this in the large bubble bath in one of the rooms upstairs. The dining room and kitchen have just been re-dressed as contemporary. Let's see how we are all going to feel here :)
Chřibská City
Even in Chřibská you will not find rustic furniture, ceramic crockery and dry floral decorations in the hallway. Although we have spared no decor or colors. The curtains are made from the last remnants of first-class velvet from Varndsdorf Velveta, which unfortunately went bankrupt, the glass is from the Crystalex company shop, where one's eyes are astonished, and Václav Havel from the Sudeten pop lovers' Never Enough workshop watches over it all. Hopefully you will feel at home here.
